Does anyone know what this number is from?

Hello all. I was just sitting here, playing guitar and watching TV...my normal stuff since I'm out of school ^_^ But then, at roughly 4 o'clock PM, I get a call on my cell phone (it's a prepaid phone if that makes a difference) from some number I'd never seen before. My girlfriend is in another country at the moment and sometimes call from friends' phones so I decided to take it. I can't remember exactly where it said the call came from, just that it said it was from an inmate at some detention center in...I THINK it said LA. It said it was a collect call but that my service provider didn't allow collect calls. Either way, I wouldn't have paid for it since I don't know anyone in jail, but I just wanted to know if anyone had gotten this call or knows anything else about the number. Thanks.
