How can I become legal?

I came to the U.S at the age of 5 in 2001. My parents missed the law by a year that permitted you to register for a green card. I don't have a criminal record- or any record! I've never even gotten a detention. I have all honors classes. I'm from Brazil so don't start with the hopping the border crap. I came on an airplane before 9/11. I know much more about US history than most people in my school. And i can't stand when ignorant people say that immigrants are stealing Americans spots at colleges and universities. Half of the population is stupid. How am I stealing a spot that the next person never even had a chance at? Now that I'm done ranting I just want to know if there's any way I can become legal. I love this country, I consider it home. Brazil to me is nothing, I still speak Portuguese when I have to. I want to go to college and medical school! I want to travel to Great Britain next year with my honors English class! But I can't. I want to study abroad & learn. I just love learning. You would never suspect that I wasn't born here. I don't have an accent and I follow American culture 100%. I just want life here.
