How do I make this up to my Mom?

Just be honest and explain to her that you never get in trouble. A foot on a chair doesn't sound like a reason to get detention. But anyways, just be honest and explain the truth to her. She might be surprised or even mad. But just don't get in trouble in the future and it will pass.
