I have green on my boot, how do I get it off?

For some reason I have green on my boot...I think it's from these jeggings we wear for TOI, cause they are green on the inside. Does anyone know how to get this wierd greeness off my boot? I have rubbed them with a cloth but it didn't work...so how do I get this stuff off without damaging my boot? Thanks(:
