Give him another chance or leave it?

Well i have been texting this guy alot and on monday he asked me to meet up with him tonight (wed).. We have been texting constantly he always texts me first and today the day of our date he didnt text me at all. I was waiting for him toi text me but it came 8 and i knew the date wasnt happening! Why did he do this it was him mentioned meeting up, him that always texts me, him that always gives me compliments! I ended up texting him and he said he forgot and can we nake plans again! So why do u think he done this and ladies another chance or not? Thanks xx
