If a guy liked you and you unexpectedly left town for months if he saw u again is there still a chance?

This guy and I really liked each other but something bad happened and had toI leave town unexpectedly I kind of left in a bad light and he is one of those guys that are thought of highly..with my failures people would think him crazy to continue to like me its been months since ive seen him but should go back this summer do you think he might still having feelings for me or has he moved on guys and girls work so differenltly even though,ive tried to forget him and move on bc im not really worthy of him hes from honored Christian society (pk), but I cant I think I love em' even though he is far away is there still a chance it should I leave it alone.
