Why is Herman Cain gaining popularity so quickly?

Because he is an intelligent, well educated and highly experienced in both the private and public sector. Being a Republican makes him public enemy number two to the left wing progressives. If his popularity rises any higher he will replace Sarah Palin as public enemy number one
